Hello and welcome! I am really glad that you are here. I work with individual adults, couples, and adolescents to gently explore life’s struggles and work toward a sense of wholeness and authentic fulfillment.
In my practice, I enjoy working with clients on a wide variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, intellectual giftedness, neurodiversity including autism and ADHD, chronic illnesses/pain, spiritual transitions/trauma, and life transitions. I am a culturally sensitive counselor who strives to create a warm, safe and inclusive space for all cultures, identities, and backgrounds with affirmation, sensitivity and deep care.
I use a trauma-informed and attachment-focused approach, and I use a lot of mindfulness, somatic, and compassion-focused techniques to help clients feel grounded and safe as we explore their unique inner world. I help clients to develop self-understanding and compassion where there may be shame or other difficult feelings. I help to clarify what is really desired out of life and to gently move toward that at a pace that feels safe and appropriate for each person. I also love helping couples work toward their relationship goals, which often involves developing greater compassion, depth, gentleness, and clarity in communication.
